This Sky-Watcher AZ5 is an easy to use, manual grab-and-go Altitude-Azimuth telescope mount for visual astronomy and daytime terrestrial observations. It has slow motion controls, a V-style dovetail saddle, and an adjustable fork arm. The instrument payload capacity is 15-pounds.

The AZ5 mount is constructed from cast aluminium and designed to attach small telescopes up to 11-pounds (5 kg) in weight (plus a max of 4 pounds of accessories,) via a regular 45 mm V-style dovetail bar.

The tripod has 1.75-inch diameter adjustable legs made of rolled steel with strong adjustment screws and pointed grip toes. There is a metal spreader/eyepiece tray to hold the legs stable.
